We had a week off in this six-week class because of the 4th of July holiday, so had an informal contest to have students continue practicing their photography. "Please apply what we've learned so far about photography to submit ... up to six images, taken between now [June 26] and then [July 9], that you think capture something important about Carrboro or Chapel Hill. How you interpret that is up to you - street scenes, a landscape with a local landmark, events, people enjoying something that relates to the towns, a local institution, ....
