Dietrich was a man who gave generously to those who were unable to care for themselves, and was known far and wide for his dedication to animals and the reduction of suffering. Shortly after his death, the <a href="http://www.trianglevegsociety.org">Triangle Vegetarian Society</a> (TVS) put together a <a href="http://www.trianglevegsociety.org/dietrichvonhaugwitzmemorial.html">memorial page</a> for him. All of the pictures here were sent in by Courtney Aman, who, along with her husband David, were active in TVS and other organizations that Dietrich and his wife Eva were also leaders of. All of these pictures were taken by her or an unknown photographer, and are posted with her permission.
